Säntis is the highest mountain of the Alpstein and is with its 2.502m of a far from visible mountain.
The exact date of the first ascent is not certain, but two priests and a naturalist are assumed to have ascended the Säntis around 1689.
From the summit you can look in six countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein, France and Italy.
